Interior designer. Furniture specialist. Design obsessive.

I'm Meah Rofe, the designer behind MRD.

With a Diploma of Interior Design and four years of experience across high-end residential interiors and furniture, I've had the opportunity to work alongside some of the leading builders and developers on the Gold Coast, creating homes from the initial concept through to the finished space.

I spent two years as a Furniture Specialist at Evoque Interiors before moving into my current role as a Lead Interior Designer and Furniture Specialist at Jayson Pate Design.

Furniture has always been a huge part of how I design. I believe the right pieces can completely change a space; not just how it looks, but how it functions, feels and ultimately becomes a home.

My approach is considered but never predictable. I love colour, texture, beautiful materials and furniture with personality, and I'm always looking for ways to create something that feels individual rather than following whatever everyone else is doing.

Whether I'm designing the entire interiors or helping a client find the furniture that pulls their home together, I take the same approach: understand how you live, make the right decisions and create a space that feels unmistakably yours.

Outside of MRD, I'm usually at home with my two kids, which has probably made me even more passionate about creating interiors that are beautiful and work in real life.
